October 18th, 2016:
Noah has been with his new family for about 2 weeks now and seemed to know he was where he belonged right off the bat! He is getting lots of love and enjoying life in the country where he runs and plays with his canine sister Abbey, and two cats that he lets crawl on him. He gets to go for hikes, car rides, and boat rides too! In the evenings he enjoys cuddling with family on the couch and everyone is head over heels in love with this boy. Another success story that warms the hearts of our volunteers!
September 19th, 2016:
Noah has settled in nicely and doing great! He has enjoyed getting brushed, along with paws and nails trimmed. He saw the vet and everything checked out good, except for a Lyme’s positive test, and he was not feeling so good for a couple of days so we are treating him with a course of antibiotics, and now he is his bright eyed, bouncy, happy self again! He plays with our GRRoW boy, Buddy, aka Ditka and loves to toss around toys and always has a tennis ball in his mouth! He enjoyed a long bath this morning and then got to play outside most of the day. He is now up to date on all his shots except a booster, which will need to be done. He had a little yeast infection in one ear, but a few days of treatment and the vet gave us he all clear this weekend. Noah is a joy to have around and loves to go for walks, which is a couple times a day. He is a sweet, gentle, happy boy who looks and acts like he is about 5, even though he is 8!
September 7th, 2016:
Noah has been with us for just over 24 hours and is doing great! He obviously loves to go for car rides since he did great during his transport to our house. He is a super sweet boy, and like all goldens, loves attention. Noah may be 8 years old, but you would never know it. He loves to go for walks and play with the toys in the back yard. He has met our resident Golden, Buddy, another GRRoW boy, but for now we are keeping them separated so Noah has time to settle in. He is getting used to our routine with a couple of walks a day and time outside to play in the back yard while we are outside. He is eating well and loves to get brushed. He knows all his basic commands and take treats very nicely. He will visit our vet on 9/9 to make sure he is in good health. Stay tuned for more updates on this sweet lovable boy!
