March 6, 2017:
Dug could not have been a better fit for our family. He is the perfect combination of playful and relaxed. His favorite times of the day include watching our boys catch and come off the school bus through our front window and laying by our feet while we read them bedtime stories. He stays by my side and keeps me company throughout the day, following me from room to room while I most often am doing laundry or taking care of our young daughter. He does have a few crazy periods though- where you'd think he could sprint a marathon, so we make sure to give him plenty of exercise (he's slowly becoming my running companion!) His anxiety issues have virtually vanished over the past few weeks with the help of positive reinforcement, exercise, and distractions (yay busy bones!) We did notice it again, however, with the thunderstorm that passed through earlier this week. Thank you GRRoW for entrusting us with this special soul. He has already managed to steal all of our hearts and become a best friend to our three kiddos.

February 13, 2017:
Dug is a super sweet boy who enjoys lots of cuddles and treats. He gets along great with our three active kids, all under the age of 10, and our 8 year old mini-schnauzer. We are currently trying to get a handle on his anxiety triggered by us leaving the house, including a bit of mouthy behavior and lots of barking and pacing/panting by using a variety of methods. After his first visit to the vet we found out that he is in great health and is a truly sweet and BEAUTIFUL boy!
