July 24, 2019:
Jordy continues to make each day a fun adventure in our home! He recently graduated from the basic manners course at our local kennel club, and is hoping to achieve his "good citizen award" through successful completion of the second level. When he is not at school, Jordy loves cooling off on a hot day by playing in his new kiddie pool. Although he has started a silly habit of stealing hats, socks, and slippers, we believe it is because he loves being around people- he can be frequently found under the piano bench while one of us is playing, or quietly resting at our feet during dinner. We could not imagine our home without Jordy!
April 1, 2019:
Since the first day of his arrival, Jordy has brought a fantastic combination of energy, love, and humor into our home. He greets every guest like a long-lost friend and demonstrates a kind heart with very young children. Jordy especially loves his morning and afternoon exercise, whether it is a quick stroll around the block or a run along the creek. We couldn't imagine our home without Jordy, and we are very thankful to GRRoW and Jordy's loving foster family for their support throughout his journey.

When life gives you snow, take a snow day! Jordy couldn't have been happier to play for hours with my son and me cleaning up the snow in the backyard today. He even helped dig a fort through the layers of ice we received last week. Jordy played well with our resident Golden too.

Jordy has been doing well settling in this past week. He loves playing in the snow, almost as much as he enjoys eating it. Jordy has what seems like endless energy, but after playing and running outside for bit he very quickly becomes a couch potato. He can be a bit naughty from time to time as he is an avid counter surfer, however unlike other Goldens he does not beg at the dinner table.
Jordy plays well with my son, and our resident Golden, and prefers to roam the house at night, checking in on everyone. The only time he’s barked is to let us know that the neighbors dog was walking and that he would like to join in. Jordy walks well on leash and pulls only a little bit.
Jordy will be neutered late this week.
