July 16th, 2017:
Josie came into GRRoW as a stray with multiple health issues. WIth GRRoW's help she became a beautiful dog. When we went to meet and greets everyone would comment on pretty she was. She was our Queen at our house. She was the most gentle, loving dog we could ask for. She flourished under our vet's care and the love we gave her. She was attached to my husband at the hip. We enjoyed almost two years with her. She was diagnosed in April with a brain tumor. In June she past away. She will be forever missed.

Josie has found her new permanent home. We adopted her. She is extremely attached to Tim and I didn't dare break that bond. She is doing great. She plays all the time. She really cannot pick up a ball anymore due to lack of teeth but she loves to wrestle with Tim. She also gets the other dogs to play. She is still dainty. Very gentle with treats and will not get her feet wet. She is a wonderful addition to our family.

Josie has done great with her first round of dental work. She did pop the stitches so she had to go back in to have them re-done. It is all healed. September 24 she gets the rest done. She will be good to go after that. She is very active now and loves to run around. When we get home she greets us with bouncy barking. She is an absolute love and since GRRoW has been able to provide her with the vet care she needed she has blossomed into a healthy happy dog.

Josie has really come out of her shell since arriving to our home. She is smitten with Tim and gets very excited when he comes home. She is very bouncy, barks and runs around him. She does well with all dogs and cats. She even ignores the chickens. When she came to us she did not have much strength in her back end. Now she runs around, climbs stairs fine and even jumps into Tim's truck. Her hair is growing back nicely but I am not sure she will get all of it back. She is no longer itchy either. She loves her car rides and likes to stick her head out the window. She just had 9 teeth removed plus three small growths in her mouth. She still has several teeth to be removed. She is doing pretty well for having such a sore mouth.

Josie came from the Columbia Humane Society as a stray. Josie came in stinky and dirty. She got two baths right away to get rid of the smell. She is not house trained from what I can tell but uses a dog door without issue. She is an absolute love for looking and feeling yucky. She has substantial hair loss and is very itchy. She will get her last shot for mange tomorrow but I am certain it is more an allergy thing. She has HORRIBLE teeth; what is left of them but eats fine.
She loves attention and prefers my husband over me. She follows him everywhere and will try to play a little with him. She likes to eat with Tim in the room otherwise she leaves her dish. She does not run off at all and prefers to stay near us.
