Bailey is making excellent progress. Through training and starting on fluoxetine, she is gaining confidence in new situations. She loves to ride in the car and especially loves to run around in the grassy fields by our house. It’s calm and quiet enough for her to relax and enjoy being a dog.
Walks in our neighborhood are still too much for her. We are currently working on building her confidence at new places. We are also trying to do crate training as she’s developed some bad habits when she is bored and home alone.
At her check up in late April, she got a clean bill of health. However, we were just there this week and they confirmed an ear infection in both ears. That was a bummer. But the great news is that she did really great while she was at the vet and even confidently walked in back with them. This was a huge step because a month ago she was nervous with her tail tucked and ears flat when she had to go in back.
She is also working on how to fit more than one toy in her mouth at a time. Silly Bailey!
