This was written by Hannah's adoptive home.
We are so proud of Hannah. She doesn't seem to be stressed at all. When we first got home she laid down in the hallway, but after the dogs, my husband and I settled in the main room and started to read, she came in, went to the toy box and got a tennis ball, then plopped herself down. Every now and then she has been going to my husband and sits next to his chair, wanting him to pet her. When he does, you can hear her tail go thump, thump, thump. My husband is so happy. Right now, as I write this, she is laying next to me where I am on the couch, and wants to be petted! If I'm petting her, and then stop to lie down, she sits up and looks at me as if to say, " Hey... Why'd you stop petting me". Then there's the tail wagging again. She's got some happy tail wagging going on! I love to see that.
Our dog Olive follows her around. I've never seen Olive this relaxed and laid back. I'm truly stunned. It's like she's bringing Hannah out of her shell. It's almost like Olive knows when to comfort her and when to let her be.
Yep! Hannah is going to fit in this little zoo of ours just fine!
