Lily got through the spay surgery like a champ but has been fighting an ear infection that just does not want to go away. We were just at the Vet’s on Tuesday for an ear recheck and cleaning. She had a lot of gunk cleaned out of her left ear, before the 2nd treatment of Osurnia. We have another ear recheck appointment in 3 weeks.
Lily is making great progress every day. She was afraid of her own shadow when she first arrived but her two senior foster sisters are helping her with confidence. She would not go into our lower level for about 2 weeks and then she would always go with one of her other foster sisters. Now she goes up and down the stairs by herself, like she’s lived here forever. Lily is such a sweet girl and just wants to please everyone. You will be her best friend forever by throwing the ball to her…. endlessly. Lily is still very unsure around little children. I think they just make too much noise and move to quickly for her liking. She enjoys a calmer household and likes to snuggle. Lily is a very fun, playful sweet thing. She is very well behaved and gives lots of kisses and affection. She has settled in and I think she likes living here.
