Merry is adjusting to life in the United States. She has been here for a little over a week. She is a bit timid when it comes to vacuum cleaners and hair dryers but she is getting used to the noises in the house. She absolutely loves the snow. She rolls around in the yard whenever she can. She also loves the company of her foster sisters Sahara and Holly. They gladly share their toys with her. Merry really likes both soft and hard toys. You can give her a kong (even if there is nothing in it) and she chews on it for hours. Since giving her a kong, she does not pick up as many things in the house to chew on as she did when she arrived. She gets very excited when food is around. We are working on calming her down and feeding her in a separate area to work on her manners. She loves to retrieve tennis balls outside. We are also working on her dropping the ball when she returns it. She has a good grasp of come and sit. Merry loves to snuggle on the couch and with the other foster dogs. She is off to the vet tomorrow for her check up.
