The little Princess had quite a day! As shy as she might be, she has definite ideas of what she wants to do (but you already knew that!). For example, getting up before the sun is a deal breaker. She may open her eyes and tell you Good Morning!, but then it's back to sleep until a more acceptable light level. She knows where she will be served her meals and will come watch you prepare said meal if you ask her if she's ready for breakfast or dinner. We are consistently working to avoid crawling and encouraging her to stand on her own four feet! If she wants that head scratched, she needs to stand up so the hand can reach the head. Hmmmmm... head rub is wanted more than no head rub. :-) Angela DID make a new friend. Our friend Scot (aka The Local Dog Whisperer) visited for a few minutes. Angela immediately greeting him with a tail thump (as she was laying down). Scot talked quietly with her and they seemed to have already decided to be friends. Scot comes around regularly, so this is a GOOD thing. And what do you know?! As Judy was feeding the squirrels, Angela joined her to see what she was doing. When she was finished, Judy asked if Angela was ready to go back to the house, and Little Miss trotted herself back! Go figure! There really is a higher speed! As every Diva needs some bling -- hopefully a sparkly collar will show up tomorrow too. But that's for another report. We've been calling Angela "Bella". Slowly but surely she seems to be learning that might mean her! We're all looking forward to a nice, quiet weekend continuing to learn about one another and exploring new horizons.
