Little 30 pound Angela came to us after a long plane ride and then a journey across the state. She appeared shy and scared and would cower and crawl rather than walk for two days until she became accustomed to us. She was not afraid of our two 80 and 100 lb. goldens and totally ignored them. Since coming to us she has been to the vet and treated for ehrlichia as well as being spayed. It takes some time for little Angela to be comfortable with you. She does not respond to commands or to her name yet and is more interested in being a couch potato. She loves her crate, a large one, please, as well as fluffy dog beds. We are not sure of her age, probably around 4-6, but we do know she has had several litters and was most probably confined to a crate most of her life. She loves that she can go from her open crate to a dog bed on her own. If you walk up to her, she will roll on her back and show you her tummy, which she would really like if you rubbed! This sweet girl would be wonderful in an apartment or with someone with limited mobility as she does not require much walking and has a consistent bathroom routine. What she needs most is consistency so she feels secure and lots of petting and rubbing of tummy so she feels loved!
