Ginger has been an absolute delight and very easy. She learned how to use the dog door within one day and has had only one accident in the house. She knows she can let herself out to relieve herself when needed. She does well with all of our dogs and is submissive to them. She does like to chase the outside cats but she has left the adult chickens alone. When she does go to chase them we tell her "no" and she stops. She minds us very well and knows "sit" and "come". We are working on "off", "wait", and "stay". She definitely wants to please so just giving her attention is enough for reinforcement. She loves, loves, loves people. She follows us around everywhere. She is very sweet and loving. We have gone on several walks and she walks very nicely on leash. We haven't gotten her to play yet. She does rip toys up. We came home the other night to her having stuffing from a toy hanging out of her mouth. She also likes to try to carry around socks, shoes or clothes. She readily gives everything up to us. She was a runner in her previous life. The neighbors would give her people food so it was reinforced. So far we have not had any issues when we are outside our fenced in yard. She goes in for her spay on June 28th.
