August 17, 2019:

Lambeau is doing well medically. When he first arrived, he had a small sore on his shoulder which escalated into a much larger angry area. He was put on a 10 day course of antibiotics. His follow-up visit went well and we are now just watching his hair grow back in. Just like Ranger, Lambeau will always require attention to and care for his ears. His weight is also coming along nicely.

Lambeau is more of a foster daddy's boy but is pretty content with either of us. He also helps with the horses and the cats, but unlike Ranger, Lambeau is interested in the cats. Shy (fast) kitty (who endured a very mean dog for a number of years) will run off and he will trot after her but will stop pursuit when scolded. Bold kitty will either smack him in the face or do nothing and he will sit there and whine at her to run away...she doesn't. I feel he would do fine with a cat that is tolerant of a dog or avoids them.

Neither Lambeau or Ranger are very noisy dogs (well except the sweet snoring), but of the two, Lambeau is more vocal.. He barks when someone comes (door knocks) and will sometimes bark in play (usually provoked by foster daddy). But he quiets quickly. Lambeau also likes car & UTV rides. Our 3 yr old Golden has attempted to play rough with Lambeau and while it is clear, Lambeau doesn't want to play, he does not react to him...just stops moving and looks to the humans to resolve the situation. Lambeau loves, loves, loves his tennis balls and will put two in his mouth at once. His obvious pleasure in chasing them has sparked an interest in balls for our dog.

Lambeau is very sweet too but he has an underlying subtle goofiness that keeps us smiling. I just can't say enough good things about these boys. They welcome you home with such adoration and show such pleasure in being with you that it's takes half a millisecond to fall in love with them.

July 14, 2019:

Lambeau has arrived in foster care with his dad, Ranger. He is an incredibly sweet boy who thoroughly enjoys walking around with a ball in his mouth. He is low energy but will need to lose some weight. A goofy boy! Lambeau and his father Ranger must be adopted together.
