December 5th, 2016:
We are pleased to let you know that Molly has found her forever home. She gets lots of love and attention and is a big hit with all the humans in her new family. Thanks for checking in on her!
November 8th, 2016:
I've learned a lot about Molly in the past few weeks. She has a LOT of energy and is very playful. She loves her soft toys and she loves playing tug. She is a great walker and gets very excited when the leash comes out.
She gets excited to see other dogs, but she doesn't always read their signals. She's all "in your face" which elderly pups do NOT appreciate. She has played nicely with dogs her size/age with a mellow temperament. Introductions should be taken slowly with her and other dogs.
She has been getting 2 miles daily and no table scraps. She weighed in at 92#s (a loss of 6 - 8 lbs depending on the scale). She's got a way to go, but she's on the right road!
All vet care has been completed and Molly is a healthy 5 yr old. She will be going to her forever home tomorrow evening. I will miss her terribly, but she will be living a great life with her new family.
October 8th, 2016:
Molly arrived yesterday and is settling in. She is a typical Golden: attention seeking and sweet as can be. She is starting to play with toys, tossing them in the air and squeaking them. If she can't find a toy, a piece of paper is fine; fortunately, it was nothing important!
Molly is a big girl, weighing in at 101#s. She will be walking more and eating less:) She makes me laugh already. Stay tuned for progress reports on this sweet girl.
