The hard work and commitment of our volunteers has allowed us to meet the needs of Golden Retrievers throughout the state of Wisconsin. We operate entirely from volunteer efforts, and are funded principally by donations and support activities. Your support can make a difference! We have many exciting volunteer opportunities available.
The GRRoW volunteer year runs from January 1st through December 31st. Persons who join after September 1st will be valid through the following year. Everyone who volunteers for support activities must be Active Volunteers.
An adoptive family is entitled to a one year Neighbor of GRRoW volunteer membership with no required contribution, after which time we hope you will consider staying with us as either an active volunteer or a Friend of GRRoW.

Volunteer Levels |
GRRoW Family: This is the active volunteer level. This level includes voting privileges in the annual election. Be sure to read about the volunteer opportunities available and then check off those that interest you in the volunteer portion so we can get you started! GRRoW Family volunteers have access to the volunteer resource area on the GRRoW website. GRRoW Family members also automatically receive all GRRoW communications, invites, etc. via yahoogroups once they join the list; as well as an e-mail link to the quarterly newsletter.
Friend of GRRoW: A Friend of GRRoW primarily provides financial support and is maintained by a minimum annual contribution of $40. Perfect for Golden-lovers who are unable to be actively involved in GRRoW but want to be a part of GRRoW in caring for our Golden Retrievers! Friends of GRRoW do not have voting privileges. Friends of GRRoW receive the quarterly newsletter in the mail unless they choose to receive it via e-mail link. Friends of GRRoW also receive all GRRoW communications, invites, etc via yahoogroups once they join the list.
Neighbor of GRRoW: Neighbors of GRRoW volunteers include new adoptive homes and anyone who wishes to join GRRoW in this limited capacity. Neighbors of GRRoW do not have voting privileges. Neighbors of GRRoW receive an e-mail link to the quarterly newsletter. Neighbors of GRRoW may subscribe to receive the newsletter in the mail. They also receive all GRRoW communications, invites, etc via yahoogroups once they join the list.

Volunteer Process |
Once we have processed your application, you will receive an invitation to join the GRRoW yahoogroup list so you can start getting the communications regarding upcoming functions and volunteer opportunities. You will then be contacted by the coordinators for the areas in which you signed up to set up appropriate training.
